assumed bound coming deal determined everybody final glad good last motions next people proud races remind saw start tony weekend win
I think everybody saw it coming, and I'm glad he's back. Last weekend was a good start for us. I was real proud of my team. People assumed that we'd just go through the motions in these final 10 races, but honestly, Tony Jr. coming back has kind of put a jolt in our enthusiasm. He's bound and determined to win some of these races and remind everybody what they've got to deal with next year.
anytime bit competition gives heat line means rules takes win
It's kind of like heat racing. Gives you an idea about your competition going into the 500. I think anytime you line us up, we're going to go for it. I think the qualifying deal, the rules they have now, it takes a little bit away from what it means other than to win it.
races seven six three top win
We are going to win six or seven races and be in the top three in the Chase. If we don't win the championship, it won't be by much.
chase seven six three top wins
I think we're going to come into the Chase being top three in the points. We'll have six or seven wins this season, if not more.
carry confidence drivers easier hard matter nice rookie setup somewhere track win
It has always had a nice kind of grip, which makes it easier for rookie drivers to come in and get comfortable, but the setup is still hard to find. I think when you win somewhere you always carry that confidence into that track no matter what happens.
began decades family father help products rely shops since tools win
Snap-on Tools has been a part of the Dale Earnhardt Inc. family since my father began racing. Their products have been in our shops for decades and we rely on them to help us win races.
car career drive knew richard stick takes talked toward win
I really think that'll happen. I've informally talked to Richard (Childress), just so he knew I wanted to do that. I'll drive the No. 3 car toward the end of my career if I've done what I wanted to do at DEI, and that's win championships and win races. And I'll stick around as long as it takes to do it.
focused interested season stunt winning
I'm focused on the season and winning races, so I'm not interested in a stunt like this.
points quit running surprised time win worrying
I'm really disappointed running like this. I'm surprised it's been this way most of the year, but now we have to go out and try to win races. We quit worrying about points a long time ago.
capable certain driver felt full given harder learn realized situations understand year
I've raced harder this year than I've ever raced before. You think you're doing all you can. I've always felt like I've given 100 percent, but you're put in certain situations and you find you're capable of doing more. Hopefully, I still haven't realized my full potential. I feel like I've got a lot to learn and as a driver I can get a lot better and each year I understand there's more to me than I even thought I had.
care good run takes target
The target is to run as good as you can every week. Everything else kind of takes care of itself.
break bristol caught deal good hard jump main miss moment nasty wrecks
The thing about Bristol is you can be really good but still caught up in a wreck. That's probably the main concern. Even if you're the leader, it's hard to miss wrecks sometimes because of all the lapped traffic. That's just Bristol. You can't take a break at any time. The moment you think you're doing good, it'll jump up and deal you a nasty blow.
auto bring bud car episode fan fun grassroots kid past present racing television vision watched
I've always been a big fan of Car and Track. Bud Lindemann had the vision to bring auto racing to television over 30 years ago. I watched every episode as a kid and still watch them today. We're going to show everyone the grassroots of our sport and bring the past to the present in a fun and entertaining way.

Beating and banging, man I was worried that my car was tore up too bad to be competitive.
