The hand responded well. Luckily, it was in good enough shape that I was able to run the bases, ... The one fly that was hit towards me I was able to squeeze. Everything felt OK while I was down there.

Flowers are great for people. In general, just the exposure to growing a plant or nurturing a plant is what's important.

I wouldn't say you're going out there pressing trying to get three hits in every at-bat, because that's definitely not the case. But I think you're almost behind the eight ball when you miss that much time. When you get out there, you don't really feel like you would during Spring Training or during the season when you've played all the games.

Obviously, I can't make up for time lost. I'll just go out there and, as bad as it sounds, take it one game at a time and work on that.

What are you going to yell and scream about? Maybe you can say, 'Hey, you guys are playing hard!' I mean, obviously, our record isn't what we'd like it to be. At the same time, we're still going out there and staying in every game. It's not like we're getting blown out of the water.
far nice sure whenever won
The only thing I know so far is that whenever he was with L.A. (Dodgers), they won. It sure is nice to have someone that's won in the past.
explain far gate gotten obviously overall tough
It's tough to explain. As far as the overall team, this is probably one of the better ones that we've had here. We obviously haven't gotten out of the gate real well. I really don't know how to explain it.

It's definitely not much fun, but what can you do? All you can do is, when your name is called, try to get the job done.
