five four rushes second trying
That second period, in probably a three-minute span, there were four or five odd-man rushes and they capitalized. We really let them take it to us in the second period. We're trying to get the system.
kindness knew shower took
I knew he was upset; he didn't say much in the room. He just kind of packed up his stuff, took a shower and he left.
door kept lead move shut taking
They kept taking that lead back but we said (goalie Mathieu Garon) is going to shut the door and we've just got to move forward.
bad building good huge roll starting stretch teams top trying turn ways
It was huge for this team. We had a bad stretch and now we're trying to turn this thing around. We just had to find ways to win. We're down two (goals) to one of the top teams in their building and we battled back. We're starting to roll again. It's a good feeling.
believe fans hear
The fans still believe in us. We can hear 'em out there.
ask break chain consumer cut last owners price products realize run shelf sitting smaller store stores
The consumer has to ask for the deals. It's not the chain stores that are going to cut you a price break last minute, but the smaller independently run store owners who realize that if their products are still sitting on the shelf after the big day it won't do them any good.
capitalize
Not being able to capitalize is our problem.
It's disappointing. The team's better than we showed, and that's the problem. We just weren't able to find any wins.
bottom line mistakes
We just let them come back. The bottom line is we made some mistakes and they capitalized.
help ourselves
We didn't help ourselves with all the penalties.
ourselves playing playoff position run smart start
We've pretty much put ourselves in the position where we have to run the table. We got to start playing smart out there. We're not playing playoff hockey.
definitely
There's no need to panic. But we definitely have to get some more wins.
enjoy good guys
Off the ice? He's just one of the guys you enjoy being around. He's a good friend. He would do anything for you. He would do anything for this game.
andy changes
A wake-up call, sometimes it's needed. Andy was here a long time. If we didn't make the playoffs, there was going to be changes - players, personnel, everybody.
