bad lucky period second thanks
Obviously, the second period was a real bad period for us. We were lucky to come out of that period still tied, thanks to Jose's work.
bad lucky period second thanks
Obviously, the second period was a real bad period for us, ... We were lucky to come out of that period still tied, thanks to Jose's work.
guys price second showing third until year
Price is showing things at 18 guys don't usually show until their second or third year as pros.
chance easy front job second start sticks third traffic unless
We have to get more traffic in front of the net. Those second and third chance opportunities won't come unless we start getting our sticks on some rebounds. But Belfour didn't make our job easy tonight.
definitely early goal period quick second
We get an early goal and we think we're on the right track. Then we give up two quick ones. Our second period was definitely the period that killed us.
credit ice seconds
But in those 38 seconds (of ice time), he had a goal. That's a credit to him.
concern efforts game hockey minutes ours realize
When you only play 10 minutes of a hockey game, it's not too often you come out of it with a point, ... We need to realize that we are going to need some 60-minute efforts and that has been a concern of ours as of late.
consider third
At one point, you'll have to consider making a third unit.
ourselves putting ways
We're putting ourselves in that situation. Over 82 games, once in a while, you like to find ways to make it easier.
almost best bulldog chance chris good hamilton last natural number player sliding wing year
I got the chance to see him play a number of times last year and he was not only the best Hamilton Bulldog on the ice, but more often than not he was the best player on the ice. He's a natural center, but we're very comfortable sliding him in on the wing as well. Chris is a really good two-way player who can play in almost any situation.
draw kid knows
One thing's for sure, he's a kid who knows how to listen. That's what he did all night. You don't need to draw this kid a picture.
winning
Ribeiro, tonight, was great. Especially on the winning goal.
brings certainly confidence element line
There is certainly an element of confidence that he brings to their side. He certainly makes that one line become very dominant. That's what they were.
adapt apply continues course extra game guys players rules spend time top trend unit unless wear
We are going to have to do something before we really wear out our top guys with all of the power-plays we're now seeing. If this trend continues and you apply that to an 82-game schedule, that extra unit is really going to come in handy, unless of course the players adapt their game to the new rules and spend less time in the box.
