class great profession shock tech texas total
I am in total shock and disbelief. She is a class act. She should be applauded for all the great things that she has done for our profession and for Texas Tech University. She is one in a million.
beat emotional team tech texas
We did not want to be the team to beat Texas Tech because of Marsha Sharp. We think the world of her. It was a real emotional game.
lost time year
First time all year I thought we lost our poise.
anyone calls consider courtney hoping incredible minutes oklahoma paris played school teams tries wnba
The teams that Oklahoma has played and the minutes that Courtney Paris has put in, I don't know how anyone can consider her a freshman. I'm just hoping the WNBA calls her and tries to get her out of school early, because she's an incredible talent.
champion defend defending last missouri national ranked team tough upset weeks
We've been going through things a Missouri team hasn't been through in a while. We upset the defending national champion, being ranked and having to defend that ranking. This two weeks has been tough on us. It really showed up in the last 10 minutes.
bad came far good
If they came out and didn't play well and we were still that far behind, I would be disappointed. It's not how bad we were, but how good they are.
call helps knows plays supposed system trying
She helps call plays and always does the little things you need. She knows where everyone is supposed to be because I think she's real comfortable in the system and what we're trying to do.
concern energy felt juice last pull team three trying weeks
I felt like the last three weeks, and I told our team this, I felt like the last three weeks I was trying to pull juice out of concrete. We didn't have any energy and that was a concern of mine.
believed felt
I felt from the get-go they believed in themselves, they believed they could compete.
ahead good team
I feel good about where our team is right now. At the same time, our team is very competitive, and we know there's a lot ahead of us.
anyone easy eight seen teams
What I've seen in eight years is, anything can happen. The Big 12 teams are too well-coached to think that anyone is going to have an easy route. You have a lot of teams with a different mission. That's what makes it exciting.
bad good seen shows team
This team was probably more down than I've ever seen them after that loss. And that's a good thing in a way, though, because it also shows you how bad they want to be successful.
forget main ncaa ready team
This team has accomplished a lot. I don't think we should forget that, and you know, I think the main thing for us is to get ready for the NCAA tournament.
defensive executing game hard kids time worst
This was probably the worst defensive game we've had this year; this was horrendous. We just had a hard time executing anything we wanted to do (on offense) and sometimes our kids do that; let me know if you find out how to get them to do what you ask.
