We really have no control over it. Our main thing is we're just going to try and get better. That means winning games. That means beating Miami. It makes no sense (to lose).

With the game coming down the way it did, I think you're allowed to show some emotion, no matter how stoic and reserved you are.

You know he's going to hit it. When I'm out there, I don't even look at the guy. I just get out of his way, give him a little space and hopefully, after I get knocked on the ground, when I put my head up I see we've made the field goal.

No one's ever had a perfect game, but you strive for that perfection and the great ones, they do that. The goal is to have that pride about yourself where I'm going to work as hard as I can to come close to it.

You have to get them out of it by completing passes and making big plays. Then teams back off because it?s outhouse or castle. Do it on their terms. When you?re behind in a game, that?s when you?re at the mercy of a defense. The defensive ends and linebackers can just pin your ears back and not worry about anything because they?ve got a big cushion. They can take more chances. The next thing you know, it?s 31-0.

It?s like an acting class out there and everyone is trying to confuse everybody. If you know where they want to be at the end, then you just disregard all the crazy stuff they?re doing -- the moving around, the shifting.

It's huge for us. We haven't really played a good game against a good opponent with a good record. We needed to keep winning and trying to get better in December.

Oh, I love it. I love that guy. I wish he didn?t have a girlfriend, ... Did I say that out loud? I did, didn?t I? There is no other guy you want in that position. Hands down. We do this all the time in practice and you never know when it?s really going to come up.
We're going to get through it. One way or another, we're going to get through it.

We know what that's like. You have the momentum when you're playing at home and you just feel invincible.
