Basically, we spend every waking hour and every dime we make trying to be something we're not, ... Fake hair, fake teeth, fake tans, fake boobs.
(The NHL is) trying to create more excitement around the games u not that we need that (against the Leafs), but it's definitely exciting.
They're really pushing us, too. They've put up billboards on the freeway. Ads on the backs of taxi cabs. TV and radio commercials. Newspaper and magazine ads all over the country. Things just blew up for us all of a sudden. They're actually trying to make us into real stars.
It would be a good achievement for us. If we won (the trophy), it would just be something else that we could take into the playoffs with us, but the more important thing for us is to be playing well.
And we've been getting a lot of quality shots.
Sometimes our passing was without a purpose. When we did pass with a purpose, we were very good, but not nearly long enough.
This win could not have been much bigger. We put ourselves into a hole losing to Jacobs earlier in the year and did not have room for a down game.
I think I heard a few boos after I missed because they were going to miss out on their pizza, so I was definitely happy to see us get the next one.
We are beyond excited. The whole point and basis of our show, mainly, is really positive energy ... It's more like a motivational experience than a concert.
We know those are games that are going to go on off the ice, but it shouldn't have any effect on what happens.
He's a big part of our team, not to mention that I'll have to play with a different guy.
I faced these guys about two weeks ago and I got ahead early with a lot of fastballs. After the first inning, I realized that I wasn't going to be able to do that, so I had to mix it up. It kept them off balance and really confused their hitters.
On Sunday (Jan. 22) afternoon we received reports from voters saying they got a negative voice message. The calls solely talked about Tony, using intense language - it was a negative personal attack.
One thing was on my mind the whole time: the mud pit. Plus, it was hot, and I was ready for a little cool down.
