Christopher John Osgoodis a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently ranked tenth in wins in NHL regular season history with 401. Osgood spent the first part of his 17-year NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings, then the New York Islanders and the St. Louis Blues before returning to Detroit in 2005. It seems as if we don't turn it over as much on the road as we do at home. We're real smart and we keep ourselves in every game.
He doesn't really talk about his accomplishments too much. He seems to be getting better and better for the playoffs.
I've been working on things during practice, and it's coming through in the games. I feel pretty good about the job I'm doing and the role I have. I have to stay ready when Manny needs a break.
Everybody else was going to make a big deal about it, but we just decided we weren't going to get involved in that. We were just going to play. And whoever's playing, the other guy supports him and works hard. That's the way we approached it.
That was the best I've seen him play. When he plays like that, and they play stingy and they're opportunistic and they wait for their best chances, it's frustrating.
