playoffs since
We haven't been in the playoffs since 1997.
against beaten best bring geared solid teams
There are some solid teams that we've beaten -- and there's some teams that we should have beaten and didn't. It's just frustrating. I think we play better against teams like this and we get more geared up for them. I think they bring out the best in us.
bad bring deserve forget guys harder stick stuff
Reputations stick with you. It's harder to forget about stuff you do in this league, because somebody's always going to bring it up ... Sometimes guys get bad reputations but they don't deserve it.
becoming cool possible seems
It'd be a pretty cool situation. It seems like it's becoming more and more possible each game.
bit played pressure punish
We played them good, we had them going. We've got to keep the pressure on, punish them. We didn't do that. I think it was a little bit of jitters, maybe.
came fire fought gave good series shooting struggled third
We play such good defense, and they struggled all series shooting the ball. I thought they came out with fire in the third quarter. Then we fought back and put them in the ground. They gave up.
seen
We didn't play soft. There were a lot of fouls called. Some that we weren't used to and some that I haven't seen in my whole life.
defense lose
It's frustrating to lose like that. The defense wasn't there at all tonight.
happy last late played
I'm not happy with the way we played late in the game. The last quarter, we were terrible.
free game maybe throws time turned
Every time you turned around, there was a foul. Free throws, free throws. Maybe one or two baskets, then free throws again. It just slowed the whole game down, big time.
close kept letting seems
It just seems like we couldn't close it. We were up by 15, 17, 18 and we just kept letting them back in it. It's kind of disappointing, but we got the win.
building chemistry critical fit five great people played swing three time trying
We've have chemistry that we've been building with him not playing, so we're trying to fit him in. People can't be so critical of him. I mean, let him play three or five games. Corey's a great player, but he hasn't played in three months, so you've got to give him some time to get back into the swing of things.
ball good job team turn
We did a good job defensively. We didn't turn the ball over much. It was really more of a team win.
five obviously ourselves playoffs preparing somehow step tonight
It's just kind of frustrating, somehow we can never get these guys. I don't know if it's mental, obviously too many turnovers tonight was a big thing. I had five myself in the first half, that's just unacceptable. We're not preparing ourselves the right way for the playoffs like we need to. We've got to step it up.
