I'm nervous. I just hope they call my name. I don't talk much about it. I just wait.
That's when my thoughts started to change, and I continued to talk to Bryan, and we developed our relationship we have now. He said 'I think I have a good reputation and I don't want to change that.' He doesn't want to ruin his name by not making this franchise better.
It's very hard. We keep talking about the same things. We've got to keep playing, and learn from our mistakes.
It's tough. But safety is a main concern. I talked to the doctors yesterday and they're telling me, if the same thing happens again - if I play - it could be very severe. (Instead of) 10 days it could be 10 weeks or something like that.
The whole coaching staff talked about going to the line as much as possible, taking advantage of the mismatches and getting to the free-throw line. Whenever we play unselfish at home or on the road, we are a tough team to beat. When we play unselfish, we play better defense and we move the ball and play better offense.
We believe in ourselves and I believe in everybody here, that we can prove everybody wrong.
With a smaller guy, I should have taken him to the post. I should have given up the ball and cut to the post. I was just too busy trying to make a play that I shouldn't have. I should have been a little smarter.
Every team goes through changes. It's up to us as players to put that aside and just play. It's hard to see positives getting beat by 20, plain and simple.
We just got steamrolled. I don't think it's a step back because it's not like we played to the best of our abilities. We got beat by 20. We know what we didn't do.
We were panicking a little bit too much, some guys were looking like they didn't know what was going on. Thank god we won.
We should have better prepared ourselves mentally. We weren't ready for it and by the time we realized it, it was too late.
We can't afford to shoot ourselves in the foot early in the game.
We don't want to give up points in the paint,
Bryan told me one of the reasons he came here was because we had a promising young nucleus, he's just really excited about working with us. We can't go anywhere but up.
