We just got steamrolled. I don't think it's a step back because it's not like we played to the best of our abilities. We got beat by 20. We know what we didn't do.
Every team goes through changes. It's up to us as players to put that aside and just play. It's hard to see positives getting beat by 20, plain and simple.
I think coach knows I can make plays. He wanted to get me over the hump with plays like that because we play of lot of games where we're in that situation.
I enjoyed playing with everybody, no one particular person. Everybody shot the ball. The second half we stepped our defense up and we just went out there and played the right way.
It's just playing one game at a time, that's how I take it. I play as hard as I can for however many minutes that I play .... It's my job, I love playing basketball, I love the NBA. I just look forward to playing every day, and I'm sure it doesn't take much for me to get up before the game.
They basically told me I have the right to be more vocal, you have the right to push everybody else when some guys are slacking off some days. They want me to do a better job of getting on them and demanding the best of them, because that's what all the great players do, they demand the best out of their teammates, and make everybody better.
Eventually, people are going to find out I can play.
My goal is to be able to play wherever my team needs me.
I want to go get a stop on defense so James can do it again. It was a big spurt for him. That made then get out of their game plan and play him closer. But when he does that, we want to make sure we capitalize and get timely stops. And that's what got us right back in the game.
People in general misunderstand me. I'm very aware of the stereotype that comes with being a basketball player. But I'm well-rounded. I'm cultured. It's funny: When I speak, people are like, "Wow! You can really talk." I'm like, "What did you expect?"
I'm just trying to be the best player that I can be.
When you're not in the game, you can watch. Certain players have mannerisms, and they do the same things repetitiously.
I know that sacrifices have to be made to play with good teams.
I havent won on my birthday since college, so its good to play hard and get a win by double figures.
