ball hard hit miss pitches
We just got pitches to hit and we didn't miss them. When you get pitches to hit, you can't miss them. We put the ball in play hard today.

chip pressure putting runners running
We chip away and chip away. That's just the way we play. We keep putting runners on and keep putting pressure on people.
drives good root scoreboard stuff
The stuff drives you crazy, if you let it. That's why you can't scoreboard watch. It doesn't do any good 'cause you don't know who to root for anyway.
crazy happening playing
There's some crazy things happening right now, but we're all right. You just keep playing through.
angel baseball continuing good happened last swings worry
You don't worry about what happened last year, ... We just think about continuing to play Angel baseball -- put good swings on the ball and play good defense. To me, that's why we're successful.
bunt coming touch
The touch is coming back, which is good. I'm just getting a feel for it. I'm not going to go up there and think bunt every at-bat, but more situational.
helps love position positions stay team
Listen, I would love to play every day at one position but it's just not happening. Being able to play all these different positions makes it fun. It helps the team and it helps me stay in the lineup.
accept holes hope pick swinging team
Just keep swinging and hope that you find the holes out there, ... As long as we win, you can accept it because you have the team to pick you up.
count definitely regular
I'd definitely take this every day. Seriously, I've just been working on making all my at-bats count this spring. Hopefully, I'll take that into the regular season.
bases ethic great means number pleased shooting stealing work
I was shooting for a more important number -- 100 runs. It means I've been getting on base. Stealing 50 bases is a great accomplishment. I'm pleased with my work ethic to get here.
baseman gold great guys second win
We've got a first baseman, shortstop and second baseman that I think should win a Gold Glove. Those guys are great in the infield.
ball hard
We put the ball in play hard today.
base create extra game stealing stolen taking third
That's our game and that's my job, to create havoc. If the stolen base is there, I'll take it, but it's not just stealing bases; it's going first to third and taking the extra base. We have to keep up the pressure.
