ball best hit needed win
That was a win we've needed for a while. This is the best we've hit the ball all year.
caught entire errors hit left outfield players three track
They out hit us. Errors caught up to us. Our entire outfield has little experience. Our left fielder (Jackson) is a 10th-grader. Our left-center fielder (Tori Paxton) is a 10th-grader. Our right fielder (Jones) is a track star. Our right-center fielder (Sara Waldrop) has had a little experience. We've only got three players with any experience. But I think we're going to be OK.
ball good hitting job pitcher took
They just out-hit us. Our pitcher was doing a good job and even took the ball to the outside, but they were hitting that too.
cant clutch complete fought game hits proud seem team tonight
I'm proud of my team tonight with the way they fought back and showed me they have heart. We got some clutch hits tonight, but we cant seem to put a complete game together.

If we continue to postpone funding, not only would we lose money, but we could be in violation of our contract.
came coached contribute field freshman knew played remember somebody special stepped true
I can't remember a freshman I've coached that has stepped on the field as a freshman and played how he played. You have to be somebody special (to contribute as a true freshman). He knew what he wanted to do when he came here. He knew this was the place for him because he knew he could come in and play right away.
aggressive build good looking might spirits win
We got a little more aggressive at the plate, we're not looking at so many. It was a good win for us and it might build our spirits up.
errors later threw
Too many errors and walks, the later it got the more errors and the more we threw it around. It was a win, but it wasn't a pretty win.
amount discussion fought good legal public relations side tremendous
It wasn't a legal battle. What we had to use was public sentiment, public relations and politics. It was a discussion where one side had all the power, but the other side had a tremendous amount of good will. That's what you fought back with.
certain everybody noises reach stop
Everybody makes noises when they're kids. But when you reach a certain point, you stop so you can be gainfully employed.
applied join richmond
It's already been tried. St. Christopher's in Richmond applied to join the VHSL way back, but they were rejected.
bat built easier easy fire hope police public relations sentiment spend type
It's easier to get public sentiment for police and fire than most any other type of employee. The thing I hope the Teamsters don't do is come in here with a big bat and spend all the public relations that have been built up over the years. That would be easy to do.
