We have to play great defense. I think the constant with all teams is how well they can defend.

They tried White on Hatcher, and that would have been fine if it was just about keeping Hatcher from scoring. What Muhammad did, he made him use all the energy in the world and now you have Downey off the ball. I thought that was a big difference in the game, great strategy by Andy Kennedy.

They ran a great play and we were out of position and couldn't get the rebound.

I think it's a great thing. They keep taking and taking and taking from P.E. and you can see it in our kids, they're getting fatter and fatter and fatter.

Everything was fine until he showed up. He's good, and they're all good. They're a hard team to play, but we really need to play them well.

The thing I'm trying to do is get him to close it out real good. You always want your seniors to want to play and still be hungry, and he looks like he's more hungry now than he's ever been.

We should be OK next year, but we have to replace Hatcher; that's going to be the key. He took a team that wasn't very good and made them good. I never got so much mileage out of a guy. He probably played more minutes than anybody in the league.

I was more concerned with winning this game, hoping our guys could bounce back, than I was with any jinx. I was more concerned with how we came out and played after that loss to Kent (State).
