Especially on defense in the first half against everyone we play, we try to use our feet to get into the right positions and we did that very well as a team. The whole team really jelled together in this game on defense. We didn't allow Elma to have a whole lot of open looks.

When you hit a shot at the end of a quarter or a half, that gives you a lot of momentum if the game is close. Rochester played us tough and made a lot of shots they needed to. We needed to dig down deep and play well defensively to get some stops.

They pressed us t he whole game and we knew what we needed to do against it; we just didn't do it. Turnovers hurt us. They took advantage and played a very up-tempo style. This game was a good measuring stick to show how far we need to go to make ourselves equally as good.

These two teams match up well. I expected this type of game all the way through. We were just a couple of possessions away. We just couldn't get that one basket. They hit their free throws at the end, which did it.
