florida great milestones season team
The season didn't end the way that we wanted it to. But I think this year's team did a lot of great things for Florida basketball, the milestones they hit.
anybody cares excited given night team
It's exciting. I don't think this team cares where it goes. We're just excited to be in. We know that on any given night we can give anybody some competition.
battle expect few finished mexico played team though tough
It's a team we played two years ago. Even though they have a few different players, it's going to be a battle. New Mexico is a team that finished up No. 24 in the country. It was a tough battle for us back then and I expect it will be again.
finding good great guts hand hesitant hit hot job leadership played sarah seniors step strategy team tremendous win
Our team did a very good job of finding Danielle and our seniors showed great leadership down the stretch. Sarah Lowe did a tremendous job of finding Danielle and then after she hit one, did a good job of finding her again. That strategy of going to and finding the hot hand worked. Danielle had the guts to step up and want to win the game. She wasn't tentative or hesitant and played like a senior.
amount behind bench commitment composure depth fighting job promising showing team tremendous
Our team did a tremendous job of fighting back from behind - this team is on a mission. We showed a lot of composure and tremendous commitment tonight. Our bench showing the amount of depth we had is very promising as we go into SEC play.
arkansas game longest team
A game like this, the team that can concentrate the longest is going to be the team that wins, and that's what Arkansas did today.
challenged coming happen kentucky last played rebounds second seniors team time
Kentucky had 55 rebounds the last time we played them, the most of them coming in the second half. I challenged our team at halftime, specifically the seniors not to let that happen again. They really responded.
accepting capable team
I think we always have that opportunity. This team has demonstrated we are capable of accepting a challenge.
halftime picked team
We made some adjustments at halftime and our team really picked up the intensity.
although focus focused goals point team
By this point our team doesn't put a lot of focus on it although we are appreciative of the respect. I think now our team is focused on accomplishing some goals in the (postseason).
biggest confidence sit start team work
I'm not going to sit here and start patting myself on the back. We've got work to do. The biggest thing I have confidence in is the team has confidence in us as a staff.
care finish picked seventh until
We were picked to finish seventh (in the SEC) so I think we're very unproven. And I think we will be until we take care of some things.
clock few kentucky late sam score shot stepped today
Sam Mahoney really stepped up big for Kentucky today. She was very offensive-minded. Today she was able - getting late in the shot clock a few times - she was able to make things happen, being able to score and finish.
amazing ball job ncaa pressure sarah tremendous
Sarah Lowe is an amazing competitor. She does a tremendous job of distributing the ball and igniting our defense. She handles pressure very well and is a big part of why we're in the NCAA Tournament.
