We had heard about her in high school, but we weren't in a situation where we needed a post player at that time. Then we had a couple graduate, a couple get hurt, and we needed to find a CC post player.

We had an answer for everything and it was not just by one person, but by everyone. We wanted to make it a convincing win over a team that had lost just one starter from a squad that got to the national-championship game.

Willow has given us so many amazing moments in the last few games. We've needed her to step up and she's done that.

We were 100 percent convinced she could step in. She has really developed her range. She's not that big, but she's strong, and she can play inside and out.

We never really got in a flow offensively. They play such an erratic, in-your-face style of defense. And I thought that we could handle that, but I think we let it bother us just a little too much.

I am thrilled to have Jen back in our program. She has done an amazing job at Cal State San Bernardino and I'm excited about the input she will have in all facets of the program.

Central is a good team. We beat them pretty easily in Seattle, but they've improved and they'll have their big post back. It really is going to be a tough game.

I guess I better let her step out a little more. That's bad coaching, not putting her in the right place.
college faster fit junior scoring takes time
She was used to scoring at her junior college. It always takes time to fit into a program. She probably did it a lot faster than most people.
