hurt vision
I didn't hurt my eye. My vision is fine.
affected ball city experience good hit hole hurt knowing learning steal time took year
When I got hurt this year I feel that really affected me, took a lot away from me. I wasn't able to steal bases. Every time I hit the ball in the hole I wasn't able to run. I just couldn't run. It's kind of frustrating because you feel like you would have done a better job. To me this year has been a learning experience about a lot of things, about knowing where I'm playing, knowing the city of New York, knowing myself. I feel good with it.
faith god helped hurt night pray single worrying
I think God has helped me, ... because I pray every single night to come to the ballpark, not worrying about getting hurt again. I put my faith in Him; that's the way I do everything in my life.
heal helping hurting injury instead last learn wrong
That was something that I probably did wrong last year. I should have let the injury heal completely 100 percent. I just wanted to be there, and instead of helping the team, I was hurting the team. You learn from that.
four surprised
I'm surprised (by that). He can hit. And in the American League, I know he can be one of those DH batters for at least four years.
expect hitter hitting people third
I know that I'm hitting third, and a lot of people expect the third hitter to never bunt. I don't think like that.
time waiting
I'm just waiting for the time when it's going to come together. I've been waiting for a while.
time waiting
Im just waiting for the time when its going to come together, ... Ive been waiting for a while.
advantage against amateur job players practice puerto twice
Against amateurs, they have an advantage because (the Cubans) play every day. That's their job, their mission. Here in Puerto Rico, a lot of the amateur players have a day job and often practice just twice a week.
matter
I'm doing everything possible, and everything right. It's just a matter of time.
fans last stayed win year
I'm just not used to it. The fans stayed with us last year when we didn't win the division. But they can be better.
happens hearts love wants worried
I'm not worried at all. I don't press. No one wants to go out and get booed, but that's what happens when you play here. The fans, they're passionate, they love the game. I know in their hearts they want me to go out and do well.
care concerned
I want to be out there, to be honest. But at the same time, I want to take care of myself. I'm concerned about me being 100 percent.
admiration great opportunity players team unique
It's great to be a part of this. It's such a unique opportunity to be on the same team with players who I have so much admiration for.
