I wasn't really geeky. In terms of the high school hierarchy, I was very much in the middle ground. You have the really popular guys, you have the nerdy guys, and then you have the people who really don't care - and that was me. I wasn't really picked on or anything like that.

You know, every country needs another country to mock, and Australians seem to be pretty good at impersonating American people. Maybe it's because all the movies and music and TV you see there is from America, so we just have the knack for it.
bunch definitely fantastic genres stale themes
'I Am Number Four' definitely borrows from a whole bunch of genres and has a whole bunch of different themes throughout. And I think if it was just one stale two-dimensional thing then it would be kind of boring. And I think they did a fantastic job.
amazing australian guess hollywood jar less pick pink rush
Hollywood is the place to be for actors - and there's just a big rush when an Australian comes over just because there's less of them. I guess that's just how it is. Like if you pick a pink jellybean out of a jar of green ones it'd be amazing, but if you pick a green one, no one will care.
girl beach hair
I don't go for girls who have beach blond hair, that stereotypical girl thing. But, you know, whatever comes around.
hate class acting
I hate acting classes. I did a few, but I've always hated acting classes. I prefer to just watch a movie or watch TV and take it from there.
character play diversity
Johnny Depp is really my favorite male actor. Ellen Page would be my favorite female actor. Both of them, just because of the diversity that Johnny plays in his roles and just the different characters that he morphs into, it's fantastic.
dialect accents respectable
I guess I'd always mocked the American accent. I didn't consider it a respectable dialect, but I was told that it was.
