bit head knew last turned win
It was a bit of a shock. When I turned at the last 50 I knew I could win if I put my head down.
believe expect fantastic feels gold medal win
It feels fantastic -- I can't believe it. I didn't even expect to win one gold medal so I'm overwhelmed.
proud
It's fantastic, I'm just so proud to be a Scot.
event expectation finished head pressure quite trying
There was quite a lot of expectation on me before the event so I was just trying to get over the pressure and keep my head down and see who finished first.
achieved although complaints ending finish great medal meeting race record swimming week
It was great to be in a race where the world record was set. We've achieved so much this week and it was great to finish off the meeting swimming as a team. Although we didn't medal we are still ending the week on a real high. I've no complaints with sixth.
aside bit feeling putting run
I'm feeling a bit run down but I'm putting it aside for the race.
bit expect hoping medal win
I just was hoping to get a medal and try to keep up with Libby and Mel because they go out pretty fast. I didn't expect to win . . . it's a bit of a shock.
carried focus head
I'm just going to keep my head down and focus on the 400 now...and try not to get too carried away.
