short territory top
It was short but he got to do what he wanted to do and he made it to the top level. That's a part of our job. It just comes with the territory and its just how its going to be.
becoming car fulfilled guy heart race top
Well, I think he had a lot of heart. That guy put everything he had into becoming a race car driver. At least he went out on the top step, where he wanted to be at, in the top level. So he fulfilled his dream, everything he wanted.

direction dominant everybody knows needs question switch whether
It needs to happen. Even if we are the dominant one right now, it can switch back in any direction. We'll never get back to the way we were as long as there's a split. If there's two series, we'll never get back to that. Everybody knows that. It's just (a question of) whether they'll do it or not.

She'll never see a pack tighter than what she'll see here. And it's at night, so it might be a little different. There's a steep learning curve.

came car changes course deal dirty early felt flat flying happened happens improved lap last morning rain ran rubber seems slick street tires together track upset yellow
The track was really slick and dirty this morning. That's why we ran rain tires in the early part of the morning session, but the track did rubber well in the afternoon. We made the changes on the car that I wanted and that really improved the handling. The track is a little bumpy than last year, but we can deal with that. I'm a little upset because what always happens on the a street course happened on the last lap. I felt I was on a 63 flat (seconds) lap and the yellow came out and we didn't the lap in. That seems to happen a lot on the street course. Right when you have everything together for a flying lap, boom, the yellow comes out. It is frustrating. But we'll be better on Saturday.
circumstance despite race racing ready
Racing is what we do. So, despite the unfortunate circumstances, we have to be ready to race this weekend.
few forward happier happiness hard heading last looking nobody optimistic people season similarity surprise worked year
Nobody in the paddock was happier to see last season end than I. I worked hard this off season and I am really looking forward to 2006. I am optimistic that this is going to be a big year for us. There is a lot of similarity between this year and 2004 in that a lot of people are overlooking us heading into the season. I think we will surprise a few of the so called experts.

It's been a long time coming, but now we have a fine facility for first responders.
