good hitting might needs period stumble tearing time
I think he's hitting right where he needs to hit right now. He's going through a good period now. He might stumble a little bit. There'll be a time when he's not hitting well and Wilkerson is tearing it up. We've got to keep that in mind.
needs throwing
It's just when he swings. Defense, throwing and running, there's no problems. He needs at-bats.
feels gotten looks needs tomorrow
We'll see how he feels tomorrow and see if he needs more tests. It looks like we may have gotten lucky.
challenges driven kevin lets mentally needs physical pick runs situations stay stayed
He needs to stay mentally strong. Kevin has driven in some big runs but he lets some situations get away that he needs to pick up. He's had some physical challenges but he stayed on the field.
field level needs
He can play right field and at the level it needs to be played.
confident good matter needs serve
I feel confident we'll be able to serve our needs with what we have here. It's just a matter of sorting it all out. We've assembled some good candidates.
knows needs work
He knows there's some things he still needs to work on.
good test tomorrow
Tomorrow will be a good test for him. Fielding, he has no problems. He has been doing that for a while.
decide handle strong wants
We're going to let Rudy decide the way he wants to handle this. We'll be there for him. He's a strong man.
again came challenges drive guys test worked
Years ago, that's how it was done. Guys came up as relievers and worked their way into being starters. C.J. has had his challenges as a starter, but I'd like to test drive that again before the end of the season.
compete ourselves prepare time win
We're going to compete and try to win while at the same time prepare ourselves for the future.
good looking quality whether
We're just looking for quality pitchers, whether it's a left-hander or right-hander. Good left-handers play well in our park, but good right-handers do, too.
background fortunate late somebody
We're fortunate to get somebody of his background this late in the spring.
counting everybody gets produce watching
When you say 'ever' in our game, that gets your attention. That's remarkable. When everybody is counting on you and watching you to produce and you still do it, that's impressive.
