biggest damage formidable hits scattered walking
That's the biggest play of the game. That and the walks. We scattered around a lot of hits, and they scattered around some hits and some walks. They have a formidable lineup and do enough damage without us walking them.
defense guy hits overlook players special turns
A lot of people, they overlook the defense the more a guy hits. Those all-around players like that are rare. ... He's a special defender. He turns hits into outs.
bet hits somebody strikes walks
He's a young pitcher. He's going to have hiccups, but stuff-wise he has been very impressive. He's going to give up some hits here. I bet he walks somebody and I bet he strikes somebody out.
difference guys hits limits maker turns
I wouldn't put any limits on him. He can be a difference maker defensively, one of those guys who turns hits into outs.
behind hopefully last piece putting
In a lot of our minds, hopefully this is the last piece of putting it behind us.
good knew mark selfish
It's something that Mark embraced. He wanted to be the best. It wasn't for selfish reasons, but he knew we were going to need him to be a good first baseman.
feeding frenzy mound negative positive side spring throw

Then you throw off the mound and get a positive or negative feeding frenzy ... and when you're done, you throw all of it out the window. It's not just Chan Ho. It's everybody.
continue
It's something we have been and will continue to monitor.
good step wants
It's something he wants to do, and we think it will be another good step for him.
good healthy news throwing
It's not good news to see Soriano and Putz healthy and throwing well.
decide finished goes periods product tough
It's not a finished product but he goes through periods where it's pretty good. We've got to decide if it's there yet. That's a pretty tough call.
balls hit
They hit a lot of balls that snuck through.
capable continuing extend four good help nights pitching three
It was just not his night. Three out of four nights ... I'm not going to extend him there. He wasn't pitching as good as he's capable of. He's scuffling. There's no sense in him continuing to scuffle if I can help it.
themselves
These things have a way of working themselves out over a 162-game season.
