He had a little swelling starting there and that was a concern, but there wasn't anything he could say to stay in. We'll monitor him real closely, but I think we may have gotten real lucky. It gives you a reminder of what it takes to go out there. You're so close, and balls are flying off the bat.

He's a baseball player. He brings a lot of intangibles.

He's managed his rotation and especially his relievers beautifully. You never see him leave guys out there too long or use them too often.
