Bottom line is we didn't play well. I thought we beat ourselves. Then we battled hard to steal it and we came up short.

We just came up short on way too many opportunities. We had our chances.

We had to make sure the bullpen was in order. We've got some guys in the bullpen who need a break. So we'll wait a day, and Cameron will be in center field (today).

We were slow getting over. Beating out that ball changed that inning that came back to haunt us.

We needed a big hit, we have been missing it. He came through big time. It sure makes life easier when you get a big hit.

We shot ourselves in the foot a couple innings there, and that was the difference in the ballgame. We fought hard to try to get back to winning the game, and came close, but bottom line is we didn't play well tonight.

He's getting an opportunity, and he's taking advantage of it. He's been good from the first bullpen (of spring). He came in ready. He has the attitude that he wants to make this club.

He came to camp in great condition. When Chan Ho left for the Classic, he looked like he was ready for the season.

He came through in a big way for us, on both sides of the ball. But Ramon is experienced, and our pitching staff is very comfortable with him. He'll do most of the catching. But I told Miguel how much I think of him and what he's done for us.

Cameron has been cleared to go so we are not going to be cautious with him. He is good to go.

We just wanted to make sure we get our bullpen back in order. It gives him (Cameron) a day to track down balls and take batting practice and he's going to go tomorrow.

We're going to approach him the way we always have and just take for granted that he's going to be swinging the way he usually swings. I mean this guy's one of the greatest hitters of all time, so we're not going to treat him any differently. We'll try to approach him the same way we have in the past and that's to make quality pitches and hopefully not make a mistake.
