We just let a couple big plays in the passing game hurt us. You can't do that. You have to keep your people in front of you. We didn't do that, and it hurt us.

We didn't make up any special recipes or do any witchcraft before the game. Guys just went out there and played team ball.

The thing about it is nobody is out there freelancing. Everybody's playing within the parameters of what we are doing.

We played pretty well. We swung the bats really well, especially in the second game. We scored six runs early and put pressure on them.

We had hard practices. Coach made us get the stuff done right.

For us this year, it seems they've been coming in bunches. Once one happens, two or three more are soon to follow. For whatever reason, that's kind of how it's going for us this year.

It's big. You get off and you're not behind the eight-ball. The last two years, we've been putting ourselves behind the eight-ball. We've been closing strong, but it was just a too-little, too-late type of thing. You only have a certain amount of games to make your statement, and you can't wait until halfway through the season to do it.
enjoy enjoying football fun playing
It was nothing but fun, having fun out there. You really like to enjoy yourself while you're playing football. I was really enjoying it today.
bad create erased history playoffs time winning
Not having a winning season, not going to the playoffs -- we've erased that history. Now at this point, we've got time to go and create a new history. We've already erased all of the bad stuff.
drive fun hard next realize takes team work
This is something that as a team and as individuals we can use to drive us for next year. We have to know and realize the hard work that it takes to get here. But once you get there, it's not over yet. The fun is just beginning.
