certain continuity good huge initial key lack peter players solid todd
We need to look at some players that we don't want to let get out of here for lack of a good solid look, ... We need to get some key players -- Jamal, Peter and Todd -- that first good initial hit. That is a huge priority. We have got to see if we can have a certain continuity about us.
ball catch force guy guys hand lack move plays shots three turn ways
It wasn't for lack of shots, ... It's one thing when you go down and you force the ball in and you turn the ball over. We've done that. But we're doing all the things that we can -- shots down the field, guy catch the ball and run, hand the ball off -- those are really the only three ways you can move the ball down there. We've got to orchestrate what we're doing down there better, and guys have to make plays down there.
lack next time work
Just a lack of focus, ... We'll work at it, and the next time they won't try to do those things.
lack work
Just a lack of focus. I don't know what to tell you. We'll work at it.
calms certain effect expect knew lack lost order plays urgency veteran
He never lost his cool. He knew he had to make certain plays in order for us to keep going. He was everything you'd expect out of a veteran quarterback. He just calms me. His effect on me is calming. He did that for me in 1998, and he's done that here as well. There's always that sense of, 'You know what? We're OK. We're going to be OK.' It's not a lack of urgency by any stretch. It's just a calmness.
answer five good kyle lack next questions
If Kyle is or is not a good quarterback, it won't because of a lack of those two things, ... Hopefully, we're going to answer some other questions over the next five games.
frame game kyle stepped team therefore tried
We tried to frame it as a playoff-caliber game because it was for them, and therefore it was for us. The whole team -- and Kyle -- stepped up to the challenge.
careful counted ease figuring great people
We just got to be careful now, we can't get him hurt. I don't know if that is something he and his people counted on, figuring great he signed, he will start. No he won't. I've got to find out where he is at (mentally) and ease him into it.
catch chance guy injury late
When a guy comes in late to camp, he quadruples the chance for injury because he has to catch up.
correct game half left second tennessee vulnerable
We have to correct the things which left us vulnerable in the second half of the Indianapolis game and the Tennessee game.
certainly question
We certainly have the capability, no question about it. Those are our aspirations.
less optimistic
We're very optimistic with Travis. Less so with Todd.
good optimistic run
We're very optimistic that Deion will be here. He's in good shape. I don't have to run him in a 40 to see he's OK.
ability backs continued deal faith great highlight lucky
We're very lucky to have two outstanding backs. We have a great deal of faith in Jamal's continued ability to be one of the better backs in the league, and we will continue to try to highlight that.
