Most of those people are still there because they have nothing to go home to.
You think you have money or people know who you are but at times like this it doesn't matter,
It's a difficult job to do, but that is why we do it. Only so many people can do it. But it, it enables you to... for a brief period of time to kind of get away. You have to go back and deal with, but it's a good escape.
I'm thankful for all the things that this job has given me and my family. But probably the thing that I am most proud of throughout my career is that, not only myself, but my family and the people around me have just been regular people, which we are.

Life deals you a lot lessons, some people learn from it, some people don't.

The things we needed on defense, he stepped up to the plate.
As I talked with (coach) Mike (Sherman) after that game that night, I really didn't know. If I had to make a decision at that particular time, which I knew I didn't, I was not coming back (for the 2005 season),
Was he saying that after we beat Detroit? I wonder what he says now? 'Maybe he can stick around a little longer.'
