I've seen where you can score 35 in two games in a row, and once you lose, you can't get it.
There's something about late in the game that's when I feel like I'm at my best.
We can't give up hope. I've started off 0-5, so it doesn't get any worse than that. Five-and-four is not bad at all. We just have to keep scrapping and keep fighting and know that if we win this game we've got two games at home and chance to go to 7-4. The future is still bright for us.
Mike stretches the defense out so much. Late in the game I started getting fouled a lot because I started penetrating the middle and guys didn't know whether to help or not because Mike had hit six or seven threes.
To me, I'm just really happy we played a great game and picked up a big sweep down here on the road. Right now we're just playing really good basketball.
It was a great game to play in.
They were physical, they were banging me. Coming off screens, they were grabbing me. It was one of those games.
What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.
We'll be fine. We've just got to get ready for the tournament now. This is what we played all season for is this moment. The next game we lose, I'm done, so I have to make sure I go out and know that we gave it our all and we lost instead of saying we played bad in the second half. We don't want to go out with a bad taste in our mouth. I'm just looking forward to getting to the tournament and making a special run. I think we still can.
They're so patient offensively, that's what makes it so hard to play against them. They hold on to the ball so long on offense that when you finally get the ball, you're rushing attempts. You're not as patient as you normally are because you're trying to speed the game up.
There's always a weakness in every team. They have had a lot of games this season where they are down 15 and they come back. That just shows how dominating of a team they are, and it also shows that sometimes they are less focused for 40 minutes. That may leave the door open for us.
Coach knows that when the game gets tight, a light switch goes off in my head.
I think we just want to keep playing good basketball. We don't want to go the Pac-10 tournament and have a terrible game and have that be the last thought on our minds heading into the NCAA tournament.
Jon, he is just a bruiser. Arizona, we don't think they're that tough on the inside. Jon's going to have a big game inside, we think.
