We were ready to play. Sometimes it just happens where you play hard but you can't get those plays to come. It's not because you're not trying, it just happens.

The speed in a real game is a lot faster than it is in practice. We've got one of the best defenses we can go against in practice, but the speed is still a little faster come game time. I've got that experience now and I can take that to next week and use that.

Blake went out and got some experience, which I think he needed in case something happens. That's one positive that came out of it. I'll be back at practice on Tuesday and I think we'll pick back up where we left off.

We've got some experience at receiver. They've done a great job this year making big plays for us. Me, as a first-year quarterback, it's big having those guys to be able to throw to and make big plays.

We came out to run the ball, no matter what. Coach Borges wanted to make both sides of the ball play really physical, and the defense just had the upper hand today.

I got to the point where I was just aggravated. I wasn't able to practice. I was here to play football and I didn't have the energy to do it. The best thing for me was to go home and get better.

Nobody was over there. They've seen our formations so many times, they know what's coming. They have the advantage there. They were cheating on the play. They deserved it.

To have that first drive end like it did is disappointing. I take the blame. I shouldn't have made that throw. But we hung in there and recovered.

We've been doing them twice a week and kept our timing down and our arms in shape. It really paid off.

I've enjoyed this spring. No pressure at all. It's been a lot different spring. Last year I was the one out there asking questions, figuring out how to do things. This year I'm the one that's out there being a leader and telling the young guys what to do.

It's a tough game to end on, especially with the great season we've had. If we can just kind of put that one aside and look back at the season that we did have, I think a lot of people were impressed.
