When I play with other people, I always have to approach it differently. It's a give-and-take thing. You have to listen to other people's ideas, and that's a great thing. We've kind of forgotten how to do that.

It's very important that people realize: the air is being taken away, the oceans are being taken away, the room is being taken away, but we're so worried about gas prices that we don't even see this stuff.

My brother was very important to me. And he played guitar. So that's what I wanted to be. I wanted to be a guitar player. So he was the first one to inspire me to do something with my life. And I was so glad that he was there.
