believe motivated moving opportunity players tougher truly
With the opportunity to play for a BCS game, ... our players have been very motivated and truly believe we are moving into a tougher league.
song singing mountain
She sang a lot of songs. 'The Bear Went Over the Mountain' and things like that. But the one she was really good at singing was 'I Found a Peanut.' Now I know why she sang that so many times.
team taken pride
You always miss a great player, but I think the players on this team have taken a lot of pride in overcoming obstatcles when we have a player down ? not only the offensive players, but the defensive players. We were very fortunate that we played that well.
against bowl chance coming found good great hits joining national players program rock schools shy staff took win won
Our staff had an unbelievable effort. We searched under every rock out there and found some real good players late. We went against some really good schools and we didn't shy away. We competed and had some great battles. We took some hits and we won some. The players coming in really feel like they're joining a program that has a chance to go to a BCS bowl and win a national championship.
change defensive offensive oregon package playing run seem state style worry
Oregon State doesn't seem to worry about too much what style they're playing against, ... They have their defensive package they're going to run and they have their offensive package they're going to run. They don't change up a whole lot.
chose contribute hopefully opportunity reasons
I think he's got an opportunity to come in here and contribute right away. That's one of the reasons he chose (Louisville) is so he could play right away, immediately and hopefully have some impact.
against game handled hard last night oregon players practiced practicing state week
I thought our players handled it pretty well. they practiced hard and practiced fast. We got better. We were able to come back last night and get a game preparation practice in for Oregon State and that went really well. You like the preparation time, but you also like getting into a game week rhythm. It is hard to keep practicing against each other all the time.
great hard leader players talk wall
I think being a leader is something that's important to him and he's been working hard at it. He's got a great personality for it; he'd talk to the wall if it would talk back to him. Now we'll see if the players think as much of him as I do.
excited good guys home hope time tough
We hope (our home-field advantage) is really big. That's what we want, ... We want to get where it is a real tough place to come in to play. Our guys are excited about it. It is our first time at home and it is going to be a good crowd. It's going to be loud.
bright bringing certainly dedicated energy enthusiasm excited miss productive seasons spent three tom tony university
We're certainly going to miss Tony Levine, who spent three productive seasons at the University of Louisville. We're excited about bringing Tom into our program. He's a dedicated and bright young coach. He'll bring a lot of enthusiasm and energy to our staff.
coaches excited fans front home kansas miami players schedule state time tough virginia west
We have another challenging schedule that our players, coaches and fans will enjoy. We play at Kansas State for the first time and we have Kentucky, Miami and West Virginia at home for our fans. It's going to be a tough schedule, but I know our players will be excited about what's in front of them.
ability ball crucial errors field hurt move position three
Those are three crucial errors you can't have, ... That really hurt field position and hurt our ability to move the ball out.
lucky
We're lucky to get out of here with a win.
nobody
We'll probably have him do as much as he can as long as nobody is around him. We won't take any chances.
