I'm sure he felt good about it. It's surely a confidence builder.
I'm in shock. I will say a prayer for him. He hit the home run against us in the World Series. He's a Hall of Fame player. Too bad this happened to him.
I know Rem gave up some balls hit hard. But he's free and easy and, as far as I know, he has no pain. He's got some life. As long as he keeps building his arm up, we'll see how it goes.
I like that kid a lot. He's a fighter and he wants the job. Sosa pitched well last year, and we have six guys who can do it, but Davies is certainly in the mix. He might have to go the pen, but we want him to be a starter. He's going to be a major league pitcher for a long time.
Every once in a while he tries to overthrow out there. He throws 100 (mph) instead of pitching.
Everybody's got different thoughts. There are no philosophies, really. Make pitches and get hitters out.
The Blue Jays are a fine team. They deserve it.
The ball ate him up. If anybody can make it in all of baseball, it would be Derrek Lee .
The ball got a little hot in that inning. We did hit the ball well in that inning also, but we finally caught a break. ... We needed to beat them once, anyway.
The Australian looked all right. He's got a nice little breaking ball and a changeup. That's a good sign. It's not like he cost us a fortune.
They know what to expect. I like our young guys and we have a nice mix of young kids and veterans. Our pitching staff is as good as it gets, so I feel good about this team.
I'm debating whether to do that or not.
I'm enjoying it. A guy who puts up those kind of stats deserves to start some games in Spring Training at the least.
I haven't been in too many games exactly like this one.
