Right now we are playing good hockey and making a push for the playoffs. I thought the effort was great and we are skating very well.
boom coaching deal follow fortunate fraternity friend great head honored incredible lead man meant sincerely
Boom Boom was an incredible man who meant a great deal to me and I'm fortunate to have called him a friend and mentor. I'm sincerely honored to be a part of the same coaching fraternity and to follow his lead as an NHL Head Coach in Atlanta.
explain great group
We have a great group of players, but this is embarrassing. There's no other way to explain the way we've played. It's embarrassing.
class great ground stood
I thought he stood his ground well. They have some real class skaters, and they scored some great goals.
boys feeling found fun great helmets special taste turned victory win
We found another way to win and it was a special one because we got to taste victory after a shootout. We had a great feeling on the bench, and the boys were having fun with their helmets turned around.
across boom deal fortunate friend great hockey incredible man meant sad today
Today is a very sad day across the hockey world and here in Atlanta. Boom Boom was an incredible man who meant a great deal to me, and I'm fortunate to have called him a friend and a mentor.
good great head offensive playing plays quick shot wrist
He's a big offensive threat, he has great vision, and he plays with his head up. He's got that great, quick wrist shot that you can't teach. He's got a good power-play mind-set. ... We just have to keep playing him.
great points running time
Time is running out. We don't have any points to give to anyone. We will need some great performances from everyone.
game great hockey looking points start
It's just another important win. They're all big wins. We're desperate. We didn't get the start (of the game) we were looking for. But we got back to our game and got some great goals. (It's) just another two points and there's a lot of hockey to be played.
chance credit great jersey race stand stay tampa winning
We have to give credit to Tampa Bay, New Jersey and Montreal. They have put on some great streaks, but by winning our games, we stay in the race and stand a chance to win.
great hockey league national players sell
They're two great young players who will sell the National Hockey League for years to come.
great quite score stuck testament though worked
I thought we'd never score another goal, but we worked hard, we stuck together. What a great performance. Even though we got down 3-1, I think that's quite a testament to the guys.
again applying blocking great jersey job killer life penalty picked shots smart
I think we picked up life from the New Jersey game. Our penalty killing is unbelievable, and once again our penalty killer is Garnett. Our forwards and our defensemen also are doing a great job blocking shots and applying pressure. We're making smart decisions.
dominant factor front great moved puck
He was the dominant factor in this game, no doubt. The one thing we could have done was get in front of him better. But we moved the puck well, made some great decisions. But we couldn't finish.
