chance credit great jersey race stand stay tampa winning
We have to give credit to Tampa Bay, New Jersey and Montreal. They have put on some great streaks, but by winning our games, we stay in the race and stand a chance to win.
chance confidence definitely easy giving growing michael morning players playing reward
I said this morning that in this business, you have to reward the players that are playing well, and Michael Garnett is definitely giving us a chance to win. It's pretty easy to say his confidence is growing, and our confidence in him is growing also.
chance giving special teams
You always have a chance when your special teams are on the job, especially on the road, and your goalie is giving you big saves.
chances character good nice simply
We were simply not there, but we showed character and scored some nice goals. We generated a lot of good chances and did a lot of good things.
chances couple good towards
It was a good game. Their power-play made the difference. Towards the end we got a couple of good chances but we couldn't get the equalizer.

chances couple decisions face felt game good key moments positive power saw situations step tough

But let's face it, this is step one. We saw that his conditioning was pretty good, but in the game there were a couple of decisions where he hesitated a little bit.
bands elastic groin hope left pick supply team treat whatever
We're going to pick up whatever is left of him when it is over. I just hope the Finnish team will supply the elastic bands (used to treat groin injuries) when he comes back.
hoping stage
We're are at that stage where we're really hoping for some help.
ice differences coaching
The beauty of coaching is that you are working with human beings. I feel very comfortable with my staff that we can make a difference, that we can make a difference on the ice.
believe hockey player
Personally I don't believe in standing on the ice, or jamming the blueline, waiting. I have always told my players that hockey has to be played on your toes.
winning priorities decision
I never look at salaries. I have no aspirations of being a general manager or anything like that, I want to coach. For me there is no dollar signs on the towels, no dollar signs on their jerseys, I will make the decisions based on who is going to make us win. For me, that is my only priority.
team hockey pieces
A hockey team is like a puzzle. Every piece is vital.
differences people talent
I have always felt very fortunate to be have good people. You know, talent will carry you for so far but the values of the people around that should make the difference.
