guys people remember time wisconsin
These young guys get to live in their moment. I don't know what people remember about Wisconsin or what people remember about Arizona. Everyone is in their own time warp.
best coming guys heck lost playing sure
Right now, they're playing their best basketball. They're coming in with a heck of a lot of confidence. What our guys better do is make sure they haven't lost any.
advantage basketball effort energy freshman gets good guy minute passes people playing recognize takes team uplifting
People that know basketball recognize effort opportunities that a guy takes advantage of and he's done that every minute he's been on the floor. Here's a freshman that's come in an really chipped in on the glass, defensively, making good passes and playing with a lot of energy and kind of uplifting the team when he gets on the floor.
amazing bring certain coach everybody filled forward guys learned pat picked pressure ready stepped teacher time
Sometimes that's a lot to ask, so I'm not going to pressure them into being at a certain stage. As a coach and a teacher I learned a long time ago you've got to bring them along, and then when they're ready they'll show what they can do. You push, you prod, you pat and you do the other things that everybody does in teaching, and it's amazing how our guys over the years have kind of stepped forward and picked up and filled that void.
built guys knows man
There's not a lot of guys built like him, and he knows how to use his body. If the big man isn't scoring, he's not going to get the ball.
floor guys indiana knowing maybe missing needed open points run second shots strength struggling
We needed to have those guys on the floor when we had Indiana missing shots and they were struggling for a while. We needed to have our strength out there...and maybe open it up to 10, 15 points in our favor, knowing they'd make a run in the second half.
decent four free gotten guys gym position ranked score six three throws
Right at the end there, if we score on about three or four of those possessions where we had decent shots, we could have gotten it to two or three (points). Our free throws weren't going in. Who knows. But when you can come into a ranked opponent's gym and be in that position and get it to six it's do-able. Our guys battled tonight.
guys jump means younger
OK, that means there's opportunities for some of these younger guys to jump into those minutes.
best finished guys league nobody season
Nobody finished the season in the two best away gyms in the league like our guys (did).
believe brown coaches compete firmly guys james point post
When you have Dee Brown and James Augustine, two guys who have been through so much a post and a point. There's a lot of coaches who firmly believe that ... in basketball, if you have a post and a point you can compete on that day with anybody.
great group guys hope matter
We've got a great group of guys who are working hard. No matter who we have there, we hope he's a contributor.
guys jump lost means people younger
It's the same old story and I'd like to say it's a different tune, but it's not. People will say, 'Oh, you lost this guy, lost that guy'. OK, that means there's opportunities for some of these younger guys to jump into those minutes.
battle good guys won
It was a hard-fought game. Our guys got some pretty good looks. We won the battle over the grabs and we won the turnover battle. We didn't get it done where it mattered, and that is the score.
athletic coaching guys knows playing quick staff
We are not athletic or quick enough to be playing from behind. These guys know it, and the coaching staff knows it. Boy, did (Arizona) play well.
