On a specific day marked on the earth's calendar, and in a specific place on the earth's map, the Son of God came to the planet. It was love.
I'm not an analyzer. I've got a son that analyzes everything and everybody. But I don't analyze people.
Most of all, God has blessed us by giving us the privilege of knowing Him and walking with Him every day. He did this by sending His Son into the world to die for our sins.
Those are decisions only the Lord will make. I believe the love of God is absolute. He said he gave his son for the whole world, and I think he loves everybody regardless of what label they have.
By faith I accepted Him for what He claimed to be, the Son of the Living God. That simple decision changed my life, and I have seen it change the lives of countless others across the world.
Out of pain and problems have come the sweetest songs, the most poignant poems, the most gripping stories.
Remember: He WANTS your fellowship, and He has done everything possible to make it a reality. He has forgiven your sins, at the cost of His own dear Son. He has given you His Word, and the priceless privilege of prayer and worship.
God undertook the most dramatic rescue operation in cosmic history. He determined to save the human race from self-destruction, and He sent His Son Jesus Christ to salvage and redeem them. The work of man's redemption was accomplished at the cross.
I think about my own sons and my own daughters, and I'm sure that many parents are concerned about what their children are exposed to.

The storm was raging. The sea was beating against the rocks in huge, dashing waves. The lightning was flashing, the thunder was roaring, the wind was blowing; but the little bird was sound asleep in the crevice of the rock, its head tucked serenely under its wing. That is peace -- to be able to sleep in the storm! In Christ, we are relaxed and at peace in the midst of the confusions, bewilderments, and perplexities of this life. The storm rages, but our hearts are at rest. We have found peace -- at last!
