best couple hung key lose newton north played six strong team walk win
When you walk six batters and make a couple errors, you haven't played your best game. The key thing about it is we didn't lose our composure, we hung tough, and got a win over a strong Newton North team who's undefeated.
beat both certainly extra innings losses quality three time
Both of them were extra inning games. We beat them the first time in 10 innings down there and this time in 11. It's certainly a quality win. We didn't want three losses in the league.
against newton north playing runs six team test undefeated
I'm a little disappointed we didn't get more runs after that one big inning where we had six runs. We're playing fine. We'll find out where we are when we have a test against an undefeated Newton North team on Friday.
both early game good season side work
We were on the right side this time, it's a different year. It was a well-played game by both sides. It's a good start. We know we have to work on offense, but it's early in the season and we'll get better.
best defense game good happy high played road step third timely
It was the best game we've played this year. It was a step in the right direction. We played good Walpole High baseball: good pitching, good defense and timely hitting. It was our third road game in a row, so we're happy with a 2-1 record.
case test
With the parks, I don't think we should be the test case for that.
bad baseball certainly coached four good great high honor loss player teams thick thrilled
He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. He's certainly a good baseball coach, it's just one loss today. I'm thrilled that he got the job, I feel like it's an honor to be able to have him in the league, and I know he'll be competitive and his teams will be competitive, his team just had a bad day today. He'll get them back, he's 3-4, they're right in the thick of things.
