I was thinking that 35 to 40 percent of WPIAL Quad-A teams are out of the playoffs already. We're going home on the bus in first place.

I think if you defend, you can live through streaks. We shot that bad and we were still up at halftime.

We didn't even know if we could score in the paint. They had trouble stopping Pat when he went to the basket.

When you play against a team like McKeesport, you can't play scared or they'll eat you alive. We battled them. Sure we're disappointed that we lost after having the game tied with 5 seconds left in the third quarter. But we committed too many turnovers.

Taking (Thompson) out didn't spark us because he's one of our toughest guys. I think hitting the big threes sparked us.

We'll have our hands full. They shoot the ball well and they have a good big guy (6-foot-6 center Andrew Devlin).

We beat North Allegheny and our biggest sin is that we played a tough schedule. This year I don't think it matters what the numbers are because it's wide open and a lot of teams have been upset this year and you don't know what will happen.

Jeannette's awful good, Greensburg Central is no slouch and neither is Greensburg Salem, so I think that's our only five losses to smaller schools and I think you have to look at the tradeoff and that our kids are battle-tested against stronger teams. I think sometimes, if you don't play a strong schedule you don't get a sense of who really are and we're ready to play.

He's playing as well as anybody in our section. He's been tough inside. I think we needed an inside presence to open up our perimeter game. Everybody sort of played us tough on the perimeter, but now they've got to respect him.

He missed it and came back last spring. He's bought into what we're doing. We're pounding it inside to him and he's opening the game up for everybody.

I didn't see what happened in the stands, I was watching what was happening on the court. It was a hotly contested game.

I love this team. They play hard and never quit battling. I hope they've made a name for themselves. I think they believe and they're gaining confidence.
