We have to have people that Maize respects as a scoring threat from the perimeter. If not, they're just going to sag everybody down around Joanna when she flashes into the lane.

We drove the ball the length of the field and scored, so that showed me that we're coming around on offense. We were fairly effective running the ball what we wanted to. I just wish we could fire on all cylinders more often.

We've told all judges we're not interested in their money, we don't want it. We want the poles removed.

We have a lot of affordable housing. That is not the big hurdle.

We threatened them for a while. But they would come back, sometimes on their own account, sometimes on our account.

I don't want our girls to look past Friday to get to Saturday. Salina South is a very, very physical team. They may be as physical as anyone we'll play this year.

I was so pleased with the turnaround we had. We took second in our league and we had the chance to play in Sub-State.
