almost believe finally mean people small special starts time trying waiting
I've been waiting a long time to do this. It's almost surreal. A lot of people tell you that you can't do it, but that doesn't mean that you can't keep trying and finally get it done. I was just one small part of this, believe me. I've got a special organization around me, and it all starts at the top.
again attempt guys involved next starting willie
Willie's starting again next week. He's our starter. I've got to keep other guys involved and I'll attempt to do that, but Willie Parker's going nowhere.
again attempt guys involved next starting willie
Willie's starting again next week, ... He's our starter. I've got to keep other guys involved and I'll attempt to do that, but Willie Parker's going nowhere.

Willie's starting again next week. He's our starter.
certainly maybe positive start three
Maybe in two or three games, it's going to start to come together. I certainly want to see our first units go out and show some continuity. We don't need to be on all cylinders, but we need to show some positive steps.
ego healthy starts
We have a very healthy organization. It starts at the top. There's no ego involved. We try to get things done as a team.
available guy hesitant plan practice start time willie
I'd be hesitant to start a guy like Duce who has not had much practice time at all, ... You'd like to have him available if needed, but I think the plan right now, if Jerome (Bettis) can't go, well go with Verron (Haynes) and Willie (Parker).
guy hesitant nice plan practice start time
I'd be hesitant to start a guy like Duce when he's not had much practice time at all, ... It'd be nice to have him available. But the plan right now is if Jerome can't go, we'll go with Verron and Willie.

coaches criticisms crossed feels felt game locker losing outside players quality start taking throw understand worse
No one feels worse about losing a game like that than the players and coaches in that locker room. They throw everything into it. No one felt worse than Tommy. I mean, this is a quality individual. We all understand the criticisms that come with this game and we understand that, but when you start taking it outside the field, to the house, to the kids, to me, you've crossed the line.
bring draft everybody free good happens hard hope maybe pick players special starting
We had a special group, but it's hard to bring everybody back. That happens every year. You hope to keep a good nucleus, draft well and maybe pick up some free agents. It's going to be a challenge, but I like where we're starting and the players we're starting with.
enjoying future group guys looked moment next starting trying week year
Next year is the only future I've looked at. It's going to be starting over and trying to re-establish a group of guys that is going to be different than it was this year. But I can tell you that next week I'm going to be doing a lot of reflecting, and enjoying every moment of it.
bottom building finishing floor starting three
It's not like we're building this big building and starting at floor three and just finishing this thing off. We're back at the foundation. We're back at the bottom ground, building our way up.
ask blessed coaches fortunate improve players question stable starts understand year
It starts at the top, there is no question about that. I've been very blessed and fortunate to be in a very stable organization. At the same time, you can take nothing for granted. You still have to go out there every year and improve yourself. You ask players to do it and I think as coaches you have to do it. I think we all understand that. I'm just very fortunate and blessed to be part of an organization that is very open, very stable and very understanding.
