Every season undergoes changes. I've been in the NFL over 30 years and it has been like that every single year in one way or another. Sometimes when it seems like we've had the most changes, those have turned out to be some of the better years.
That?s the passing game in the NFL. It?s pretty involved. I don?t want to say it?s complex, but it is what it is. It?s not like college where they run quick screens and play-action. The sophistication of the passing game in the NFL from a protection standpoint is pretty involved. I don?t care what team you?re with.
What geniuses in the NFL came up with that? ... Someone's got too much time on his hands.
We've always tried to coach and abide by the NFL rules, whatever they are,
I'm not really worried about the other 31 teams.
Well this week's all about Seattle, so we've been doing our best to prepare for the Seahawks. I'm doing that, our team's doing that and we'll be ready to go Sunday. That's our focus.
In 30-plus NFL seasons, I can tell you that some of the seasons where teams have undergone the most change or (face) what might be perceived as the most difficult circumstances turn out to be the best years.
We were prepared to play him a little bit less, but he's in good condition. He was doing fine on the sideline.

We?re going to try to take advantage of the extra time this week in terms of meetings, and trying to go through some things we feel like, the last six weeks, teams have repeatedly tried to attack us. Those are things we can address and try to improve on.
We're going to approach this as a normal week. We're treating this week just like every other week this year in terms of our preparation for the game.
I've told everybody to be ready to go. I'm sure that we'll look at some of the players that didn't play as much in the Green Bay game a little bit more against the Giants and try to get the best evaluation that we can as we make our final decisions at the end of the week. I'm sure that the younger players and the players who didn't play as much against Green Bay will play more than the ones who did play quite a bit against Green Bay. Let's put it that way.
I've talked to Ty, but we never talked about any contract or anything like that.
