ball bit chance free good kids played short throws win
We had some good opportunities, with free throws and short jumpers, but I think we were a little bit fatigued. Our kids played an outstanding ball game, especially after getting down so early. We still had a chance to win the game.
allowed basically came concentration defensive hit lack
We came out of the chute like gangbusters. Our lack of concentration on the defensive end allowed them (the Trappers) to hit some threes ... in the first half, we basically got outplayed.
disaster few fine versatile
We tinkered with disaster there a few times. It was a fast-paced game. That's fine with us. We're versatile enough to play that way.
although anxiety enjoy grow needs realize tight winning
I enjoy these kind of games, personally, although they come with more anxiety and they are more nerve-wracking. Winning like this makes you grow as a team. You get in tight situations, you realize what needs to be done, and you do it.
looking premiere prep rival seattle second state team washington
It's very interesting having Seattle Prep and R.A. Long in our quadrant. You are looking at your cross-town rival or a premiere team from the state of Washington in the second round.
fourth game ice
Usually in the fourth quarter, we ice the game from the free-throw line. Not tonight. Those things happen.
black focused hills initiative played second solid took
We played a focused and solid first half. But Black Hills took the initiative in the second half.
early feet hurt kept played proud trademark
That one early spurt hurt us. Once we got our feet under us, we played with confidence. I was most proud that we kept battling. That has been our trademark all year.
example inspiring matt plays
There were some pretty inspiring plays tonight. The play by Matt was an example of doing the little things.
black concerned foolish game hills keeping led offensive poorly rebounds staff three worried
Going into the game we were worried about three things. Keeping them out of 3-point range, getting offensive rebounds and not making foolish fouls. We did poorly in all those things the staff was concerned about, and that is what led to Black Hills getting back into the game.
adopt heading
He's heading back. If I adopt him, he could stay. But he's heading back.
beautiful pure rick
He has a beautiful stroke. Pure as Rick Barry.
ball change columbia fine flow pose problem river shots
Columbia River is a fine ball club. They pose a problem for you defensively because of their size. We never got into a flow offensively because at times they change shots with their size.
