Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; / And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.
faithful wives
Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
appointed cities elders fierce god judges matter rulers strange taken turned until wives wrath
Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.
