among fall people shall understand
And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
brought burnt early eat offered peace people rose sat
And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
bodies days dead nations people shall suffer three
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
boy cast girl given lots might people sold
And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
book enemies midst moon people stood sun themselves until written
And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
according blessed counted descent office people receive received sons though verily whose
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: / But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
court forth garments holy lay people shall utter
And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.
began evil gathered given people seek shall sign thick
And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
battle fire flame mountains noise people shall strong tops
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
changed doth glory hath nation people
Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
ancient cannot certain faith hope people sure won
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. It was by their faith that people of ancient times won God's approval. (Hebrews 11:1-2)
against days hands hired king land people reign troubled until
Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building, / And hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia.

Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
