dost establish judgment loveth strength thou
The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
believed came captains certainly dost forces hath king moreover sent son thou unto
Moreover Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, / And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.
curse dost god retain thine thou unto wife
Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
believe bread dost eat fathers gave heaven sign therefore thou unto
They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? / Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
blood die dost man require shall shalt speak surely thine thou unto warn wicked
When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
asked blessed dost pray thou thy
And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
forgiveness grace redemption riches
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
adorn good manner modest professing themselves women
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; / But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
knowledge wisdom
In much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
against blood children egypt innocent shall shed violence
Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
bread drink eat heart merry thy wine
Eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart
eat fire head nor roast
Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
faces four hands likeness man
Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
black country forth horses north south toward white
The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.
