But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, / And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

ancient cannot certain faith hope people sure won
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. It was by their faith that people of ancient times won God's approval. (Hebrews 11:1-2)
certain devour fearful fiery judgment knowledge looking received sacrifice shall sin
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, / But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
