knowing last matter ourselves playing season situation trying
Same way we've been doing it all season ? just going out and playing with a lot of energy, knowing that it really doesn't matter who we're playing against. We're just trying to go out and win every game, just to put ourselves in a better situation than we were in last year.
goes key plays relaxed trying
That's the key to our success. Everyone just goes out and plays their role. No one is trying to do it by themselves. Everyone is just relaxed and going through the flow.
trying
I was having one of those out-of-body experiences. Just trying to be active, just trying to get to the boards, just trying to make things happen.
thinking trying
Right now, I'm not really thinking about any of that. I'm just out here trying to have fun, play basketball.
ball early easy everybody forcing lead stops talking teams transition trying turn
We're talking about it, getting back to what we were doing early in the season, when we were getting stops that would lead to easy baskets. Where everybody was getting buckets in transition and forcing teams to turn the ball over, everybody getting out and running. ... Now, we're just trying to get back to where we were.
everybody good knew last pieces played roles struggling team trying year
They're a struggling team right now, trying to find their identity. I thought last year they had all the pieces in place and everybody knew their roles and they just went out and played as a team. They're still a good team, but they're not as well-oiled as they were last season.
front game next playing possibly trying week win worried
Right now, that's what we're playing for. We're not worried about who they put in front of us or who we've got to play this week or next week. We're just trying to win every game we possibly can.
everybody including trying win year
That championship year we had, everybody played. It wasn't trying to win with one or two guys. We used everybody that we had, including our bench. We've got to use everybody. That's the only way you can win in this league.
good playing shoulders team trying
He's not out there trying to take the team on his shoulders by himself. He's playing good team ball.
allow ball came catch force passing second success third
We just wanted to tighten it up a little bit, get in the passing lanes, force them to go to their second or third options, not allow them to just catch the ball where they want to catch it at. Once we came out and did that, we had a little success with it.
came energy everybody game guys knows mean opportunity ourselves playoffs ready step teams win
We just wanted to give ourselves every opportunity to win games. Guys came out ready to play with a lot of energy but the playoffs is a whole different beast. This game won't mean anything for that. Everybody knows teams step up their game once the playoffs start.
control early energy game good plan success
We just wanted to come out with a lot of energy early in the game and take control of the game and we were able to do that. That was our game plan and we had good success doing it.
couple enjoy goes hit looks seeing sophomore start weight
I used to play with the weights, but once I hit my sophomore year, I got serious. That's when I got addicted. You know, you start seeing a couple of rips and you like how it looks and you keep working, and it goes from there. Now I am addicted. I enjoy working out. I enjoy being in the weight room.
allow coach flip likes loves passion possession
Flip allows you to go out there and play. You know if you make mistakes, he'll allow you to play through it. Coach Brown, you know, he likes to coach, pretty much every possession if he can. That's his passion ? he loves to coach.
