We can play any way you want to play. At the end of the day, we have to defend, rebound, take good shots and take care of the basketball.
My heart sunk watching Steele even get a shot off.
It was a great win. I'm excited for our team. In the first half we forced 13 turnovers. Our defense was so active. It was misleading. Arizona shot 58 percent. It's astounding they can shoot 58 percent and lose. Usually, you win when you shoot a percentage like that.
With the last play of regulation, we didn't have any timeouts left and I am trying to be judicious, but also use my timeouts to the best of my ability. After all that and then go into overtime on a great shot by Robertson is just a testament to these kids' character.
The bottom line is if we make our foul shots, it doesn't come down to Steele taking a 3-point shot at the end.
The bottom line is, we make those foul shots, Steele doesn't have that shot down the stretch.
He can score from 3, he can score off the bounce, he can score in the post, he rebounds his own shot as well as anybody. He poses a lot of problems. There's only a handful of people that are playing the game in college that would ever be talked about in that same light.
We feel very, very fortunate to move on to the next round.
We hit some tough shots. It was a night of tough shots.
It was another outstanding job defensively. In the second half, we did a much better job of getting to the line and getting fouled.
The very best players are my kind of players.
Florida was terrific. Credit Billy Donovan. They were really well coached. They did an excellent job handling our pressure.
Florida has a great offensive team. It really is going to be a big challenge for us to be able to try to defend such skilled players and good passers. Everybody can shoot it.
Five should be average; four is a disappointment.
