Brandon is just absolutely terrific. Looking at the stats, it's amazing how good this kid is.
That's a very important win we got tonight. It's a credit for these kids to handle any adversity.
I was uncomfortable just standing there, it was so hot. I kept getting water after water, out of the machine. But this kid had such good fundamentals.
He's a great kid and a great competitor. He's going to bounce back and be great in the NCAA Tournament. We need to beat Arizona, but it's hard to beat a good team like Arizona three times. They've improved since we've last seen them.
I'm always concerned about him. He's one of the top players in our conference without question. He's an NBA player. He's an L.A. kid and he's always played well against us. We've got our hands full.
We have great kids and they're all on the same page about winning and getting the program back to the highest level.
It was brutal. I was uncomfortable just standing there . . . And the kid is playing like you can't believe, just the fundamentals.
It means something. These kids are playing for themselves. But we're also playing for the program. They represent those four letters. It's a very special fraternity.
Those kids were connected at birth as far as I'm concerned. I just happened to be the coach that was lucky enough to get them to come.
I had no idea that he was that good of a passer. It causes you to pause in what you do (double-teaming). He was just terrific. The best thing about him is that he doesn't even care if he scores. That kid is all about winning.
I'm really proud of Ryan. He did a great job again today. Here is a kid who has worked so hard to get it to where he's at right now. He's a factor.
I'm kidding . These guys are great shooters.
I'd much rather win by 20. Are you kidding me?
We feel very, very fortunate to move on to the next round.
